Hair Growth Sweden is a specialized brand by Dalarnas EKO, built on over 15 years of expertise in formulation, scalp health and long-term hair care — created to address one of the most complex and misunderstood areas of hair health: hormones, scalp balance and hair growth.
This is not about quick fixes.
It’s about understanding why hair loss happens — and supporting the body and scalp where real change begins.
Our Story – From Frustration to Change

Hair Growth Sweden was born out of a personal struggle.
My name is Sofie, founder of Dalarnas EKO and Hair Growth Sweden. For many years, I dealt with persistent scalp irritation, hormonal acne, and skin that constantly shifted between extreme dryness and oiliness. I spent thousands on skincare, medications, and medical appointments – with little to no results. Eventually, I reached a breaking point.
Certified nutritionist with expertise in hormones & chronic pain
With a deep understanding of how the body responds — both internally and externally — I began formulating my own products to meet needs I couldn’t find elsewhere.
I create clean, minimal formulas designed for sensitive, reactive skin — like my own.
Living with fibromyalgia, PCOS and chronic pain has made me acutely aware of how strongly the body reacts to stressors, including the ingredients we apply daily. Over time, this awareness shaped not only my approach to health, but to formulation.
After more than 8 years of small-batch testing, I saw consistent improvements in my own scalp and skin — and soon, others began noticing the same results.
What started in my kitchen grew into something much bigger.
In January 2019, the brand was officially founded as Dalarnas Ekobutik Organic Cosmetics AB, now also known as Hair Growth Sweden.
Growth Through Both Success and Setbacks

Our journey has been shaped by growth — sometimes rapid, sometimes demanding — but always intentional.
My partner joined the company early on and was himself surprised by the results of our products. By 2021, the brand grew organically through word of mouth from loyal customers. In 2022, we transitioned into a limited company and began scaling production to meet increasing demand.
The years 2023–2024 brought significant challenges.
A period marked by long-term inflammation and personal upheaval coincided with system limitations, logistics disruptions and delivery delays. It was a demanding time — for us, and for our customers.
2024 became a year of rebuilding.
We restructured our systems, rebuilt our website and partnered with professional third-party logistics to create a more stable foundation. Our move to Borlänge provided expanded storage capacity and improved infrastructure — enabling faster, more reliable deliveries.
Today, the company stands on stronger ground than ever before, with renewed focus on quality, consistency and long-term growth.
This journey continues — and we look forward to sharing it with you.
